SRINAGAR: A police inspector returning residence from night prayers at a mosque was shot useless and a CRPF trooper was injured in separate terror assaults in south Kashmir on Monday.
Whereas police officer Mohammad Ashraf was fatally shot within the Kenalwan space of Anantnag, the CRPF man injured within the day’s different assault was a part of a joint police and paramilitary workforce that was focused close to the Gangoo space of Pulwama district.
In Shopian, an unidentified terrorist was killed in an encounter with safety forces. The shootout at Melhura village occurred throughout a cordon-and-search operation by the police and Military’s 55 Rashtriya Rifles.
