JOB DESCRIPTION

    Background: USAID and Mastercard launched of the Good Communities Coalition (SCC) in January 2018. The Good Communities Coalition (SCC) is a public-private effort in search of to rework the working mannequin in humanitarian contexts. Co-chaired by Mastercard and USAID, the SCC organizes and mobilizes stakeholders in line with their core strengths to handle three elementary pillars – vitality entry, connectivity, and digital instruments. SCC permits progressive, sustainable approaches to the supply of fundamental providers, creating hope and financial alternative for the forcibly displaced and the communities that host them. Energy Africa, a U.S. Authorities-led initiative coordinated by USAID, is spearheading efforts to supply vitality entry beneath SCC.

     

    Facilitator: The advisor will facilitate the SCC Annual Assembly, which is able to convey collectively SCC members (together with some Energy Africa companions) in late February or early March in Kampala for this annual gathering.

     

    Major Duties:

    • Collaborate with USAID, Mastercard, different stakeholders to finalize agenda and participant pack for the annual assembly
    • Facilitate the two-day SCC Annual Assembly in Kampala, Uganda
    • Develop closing abstract of the Annual Assembly and outcomes of the assembly
    Minimal Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Diploma in coaching and growth, communications, social science, or associated subject with 5 years of related work expertise
    • Expertise facilitating small and enormous group trainings, conferences and workshops
    • Glorious communication expertise and skill (verbal and written)
    • Prior expertise in public talking and good presentation expertise
