With the water degree within the Krishna rising, about 100 kids staying within the SKCV Belief NGO dwelling on the river bund at Bhavanipuram in Vijayawada have been shifted to a protected place.
Collector A. Md. Imtiaz visited Bhavanipuram, Punnami ghat and different areas and directed officers to shift the folks staying on the bund. Flood water entered some buildings close to the river.
